Collis 20/10 SC Fungicide for Effective Powdery Mildew Control
Mode of Action
Collis is a fungicide blend of two active ingredients, kresoxim-methyl and boscalid, with similar modes of action to control powdery mildew.
- Kresoxim-methyl inhibits cellular respiration (cytochrome bc1) and exhibits translaminar movement.
- Boscalid also inhibits cellular respiration but at a different site of action and shows systemic movement.
Collis prevents spore germination, mycelial growth, and sporulation, providing both protective and curative effects.
Notes:
- Use the highest dose and shortest interval when there is an increased risk of disease onset or development.
Resistance Management:
- Apply Collis preventively at disease onset rather than curatively, and rotate with fungicides from different chemical groups with different modes of action.
- Use the manufacturer’s recommended dose.
- Maximum number of applications per growing season: 3, with no more than 2 consecutive applications.
Phytotoxicity:
The product is non-phytotoxic when used according to label instructions.
