Category and Mode of Action

Luna Experience SC is a fungicide combining the new active ingredient fluopyram with tebuconazole.

Fluopyram inhibits mitochondrial respiration by blocking electron transfer in the respiratory chain at succinate dehydrogenase (complex II)—an SDHI (Succinate DeHydrogenase Inhibitor). It prevents spore germination, spore development, and mycelial growth.

Tebuconazole is a systemic fungicide of the DMI group (triazole subgroup), with preventive, curative, and eradicative action against a wide range of fungi (Basidiomycetes, Ascomycetes, and Deuteromycetes).

On a biochemical level, it works by inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis at the C-14 demethylation step (Demethylation Inhibitors – DMIs).

Application Method:

Foliar spraying.

Preparation of Spray Solution:

Fill the sprayer tank halfway with water. Add the required amount of product while stirring, then top up with the remaining water, maintaining constant agitation.

Notes:

Effectiveness and potential negative effects on plum and pistachio crops have not been documented. The registration holder bears no responsibility for possible efficacy failures or phytotoxicity when used on these crops.

Do not plant tree crops or vegetables as follow-up crops after treatment.

Workers should not enter treated areas until the spray has dried on the foliage, unless wearing protective clothing.
