Movento 150 OD is an insecticide belonging to the new chemical group of tetronic acids. It exhibits a novel mode of action as a lipid biosynthesis inhibitor.

The action of Movento 150 OD is primarily stomach-based on target pests. After application, the active ingredient spirotetramat penetrates the leaves. Spirotetramat has dual systemic activity (both upward and downward / acropetal and basipetal translocation), moving throughout the entire plant.

Movento 150 OD mainly affects immature stages, which become trapped between two molts and die because they cannot progress to the next developmental stage. It also reduces the reproductive capacity of female insects and the viability of their offspring.

Applications of Movento 150 OD should be made early and timely to allow spirotetramat to penetrate the plants and stop the progression of infestation.
