Signum® – Preventive and Curative Fungicide for Reliable Crop Protection
Mode of Action
Signum® is a fungicide with preventive and, in some cases, curative activity. It inhibits spore germination, mycelial growth, and sporulation. Pyraclostrobin disrupts cellular respiration by acting at the Qo site of complex III in the mitochondrial respiratory chain and exhibits both translaminar and surface movement. Boscalid also disrupts cellular respiration, but at a different site of action (complex II), and displays systemic movement within the plant.

- Apply preventively when conditions are favorable for disease development.
- Follow the guidelines and recommendations of the regional Agricultural Warning Services where applicable.
- Effectiveness and potential phytotoxicity have not been evaluated for walnut, hazelnut, chestnut, and greenhouse eggplant crops. The use of the product on these crops is not officially supported, and the manufacturer holds no responsibility for any failures in performance or potential phytotoxicity. Therefore, any application to these crops is at the user’s own risk.
- For crops such as strawberry, carrot, pepper, and lettuce, where both target pathogens are present, the higher recommended dose should be applied.
Phytotoxicity
Signum® is not phytotoxic when used according to the recommended crops and application rates.
Resistance Management
- Apply Signum preventively at the early stages of disease development, minimizing curative applications.
- Use Signum in rotation with fungicides from different chemical groups with a different mode of action.
- Maximum number of applications per growing season: 2–3.
