Category and Mode of Action:
Flint Max 75 WG is a mixture of two fungicides offering both protective and curative action:
- Trifloxystrobin provides translaminar and locally systemic movement, as well as vapor activity, enhancing its reach within the plant tissue.
- Tebuconazole is a systemic fungicide that moves throughout the plant to stop fungal development.
Trifloxystrobin is a synthetic derivative of natural strobilurins, with translaminar activity. Strobilurins inhibit mitochondrial respiration by disrupting electron transfer in the cytochrome chain.
Tebuconazole biochemically inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis at the C-14 demethylation step, acting as a Demethylation Inhibitor (DMI).
