Power Supply Notes

If you choose to use a commercial or DIY generator instead of a car battery, always measure the generator’s output with a voltmeter. Ensure the voltage is stabilized and does not exceed 14V, to prevent potential damage.

High-Performance 48-Rod Head

The ASTERAS MAX features a specially developed harvesting head with 48 carbon-fibre rods and 2 T8 aluminium eccentric counterweights.

The patented Greek-made mechanism combines the flexibility of carbon fibre with a wide-range pulsating movement to achieve efficient harvesting while minimizing unnecessary impact on the tree.

Compared with the ASTERAS CF, the MAX features an additional rod holder with 8 extra carbon-fibre rods, increasing the harvesting range and improving penetration into dense foliage.

T8 Aluminium Eccentric Counterweights

The two T8 aluminium eccentric counterweights are designed to provide a powerful yet balanced pulsating movement.

Combined with the 48 carbon-fibre rods, they create a wide harvesting action that helps maximize productivity while maintaining controlled contact with the olive tree.

Powerful BOSCH 400W Motor

The ASTERAS MAX is equipped with a BOSCH 400W DC electric motor, delivering up to 2,000 pulsating movements per minute at 16V DC.

The system includes a 35A ON/OFF switch and a reduction mechanism that converts the motor’s rotational movement into the pulsating action of the harvesting heads.

It can operate from a generator or an 80–100A battery with converter, and can also be connected to a car battery when used with the appropriate converter.

Carbon-Fibre Construction

The carbon-fibre tube provides an excellent combination of strength, low weight and rigidity.

With an initial length of 2.50–2.80m and a total weight of approximately 2.95kg, the ASTERAS MAX is designed to provide excellent reach without unnecessarily increasing operator fatigue.

High Harvesting Performance

The ASTERAS MAX can achieve an estimated harvesting output of 200–250kg of olives, depending on the variety, tree condition and harvesting conditions.

Its 13-metre power cable provides practical freedom of movement in the field.
